Foraging Alphabet, 2023
I made the alphabet for all the babies in my family. The theme is plants/fungi that can be foraged in the Pennsylvania wilderness (note: not all specimens in this painting are edible!!) When I was a teenager, I fell in love with foraging and learning about how one can sustain themselves by gathering what grows around them. With this alphabet, people can easily learn about some native flora (and little ones learn their ABCs, too!)
